Why I Created NUBELLE: A Letter From Our Founder
Let me be real with you, sis.
I started NUBELLE because I was tired. Tired of walking into stores and seeing hair products that weren't made for us. Tired of beauty brands using our faces in their marketing but not our voices in their formulation labs. Tired of watching my edges disappear while companies profited off our insecurity—but never invested in real solutions for our hair.
For too long, we've been told to make do with products created in boardrooms where no one looked like us, understood our texture, or cared about our specific needs. They studied our buying power, but they didn't study our hair. They wanted our dollars, but they didn't want to solve our problems.
I know what it's like to watch your edges thin from years of protective styling. To avoid mirrors. To feel less beautiful because your hairline doesn't look like it used to. And I know what it's like to try product after product, only to realize they were never formulated with Black women's hair in mind.
That ends now.
NUBELLE was born in my kitchen—from research, frustration, and determination. I studied the science of hair growth. I tested dozens of natural ingredients. I talked to dermatologists who actually understood textured hair. And I created something that works because it was made BY a Black woman FOR Black women.
Every bottle of NUBELLE represents more than hair growth—it represents ownership. It represents us taking control of our beauty standards, our solutions, and our economic power. When you buy NUBELLE, you're not just investing in your hair. You're investing in Black entrepreneurship. You're saying: "We deserve products as excellent as we are."
Your crown matters. Your confidence matters. Your money deserves to go to people who actually care about solving your problems—not just profiting from them.
This is more than a serum. It's a declaration that we will no longer accept being an afterthought.
Welcome to NUBELLE. Welcome home.
